Welcome to the Hanover College History Department!

We are pleased to have two new historians join us this fall: Prof. Nuan Gao will be teaching Chinese history (and Asian history more generally), and Prof. J. Michael Raley will be teaching medieval history (and the West more generally).

In 1995, the Hanover History Department began a pioneering project to make primary source documents available to students and faculty around the world.

We are delighted that thousands of people continue to use it every day.

Founded in 1992, this is a student-edited journal of student scholarship.
