Constitution
Adopted in 1988
Article 1
Name of the Organization
The history club of Hanover College shall be named hereafter as Clio, the muse of history.
Article 2
Purpose
Clio has the intent to expand the opportunities for students to investigate their interests in history, regardless of their other academic pursuits.
Article 3
Membership
Any student or faculty member of Hanover College shall be eligible for membership into Clio. There is no registration fee or dues. Any person regardless of academic major or minor may be a member.
Article 4
Organization
The club shall be organized in the following manner:
(i) The club will be run by a planning committee of no more than six (6) individuals.
(ii) These individuals shall be selected by the club membership.
(iii) The committee will select one person of its membership to be acting president.
Article 5
Implementation
This club and corresponding constitution shall become effective upon formal recognition by the Hanover College Student Senate.
