Florence in the Age of Dante and Petrarch
Planning for the Year 2000
Costs, Payment, and Financial Aid
The cost of the trip is $3,100. That figure covers all transportation and housing costs, all class field trips, and per diem stipends adequate for meals and various entrance fees.
Financial aid is available. The Student Academic Assistance Committee makes decisions about financial aid based on both financial need and merit. Students applying for financial aid must: (1) have on file in the Financial Aid Office a FAFSA form (the form to apply for financial aid during the regular academic year), (2) submit to the Office of Academic Affairs by September 17 a spring term financial aid form (this one is specifically for study abroad in the spring term), and (3) submit to the Office of Acadmic Affairs by October 7 an essay articulating why they want to go on the trip and why their application is meritorious. Application forms are available from Mrs. Lynda Vogler in the Academic Affairs Office, 204B Administration Building (x-7005)
