Earthquake

 

Information from below still continues to bring us fresh tidings of disasters experienced on the Ohio and Mississippi in consequences of the late earthquakes. - - Mr. Carter from this place writes, that his boat was sunk on the 23d Feb - - by great exertions, part of his cargo was saved, no lives were lost - - and that it was reported many other boats had been lost and many persons perished.
