Untitled: December 16 earthquake
On Monday morning last [ie Dec. 16], about three o'clock, the citizens of this town were greatly alarmed by the shock of an Earthquake; a number of persons from the shaking of their houses, were so much alarmed as to jump out of bed. About 7 o'clock, the same morning, there was another shock, though not so violent as the first.
