On Sunday last [Oct. 27], two large barges, rigged as sloops, sailed from this port for New Orleans - - one owned by Riddle, Bechtle and Headington, commanded by Bechtle - - the other owned by C. C. Wallace & Co.  Wallace commander. - - Both loaded principally with flour.

Same day - - the STEAM-BOAT, lately built at Pittsburgh, passed this town at 5 o’clock in the afternoon, in fine stile, going at the rate of about 10 to 12 miles an hour.
