Judy Moffett -- Hanover College in the 1960s
Judy Moffett (HC 1964) was engaged with civil rights issues on campus,
especially in her senior year. After graduation, she became a
novelist and poet.
Oct. 1963 - A Triangle article reports that Moffett
called an organizational meeting for a committee on civil rights.
Oct. 1963 - A Triangle article reports on the "Committee
on Civil Rights" that included Moffett.
Nov. 1963 - In this Triangle article, Moffett
investigates the homogeneity in the student body.
Dec. 1963 - In this Triangle article, Moffett
investigates the homogeneity among the faculty.
1975 - In this article for the Colorado State newspaper,
Moffett recalls her efforts to form a civil rights group at Hanover.
