Annual Meeting Program





Dr. John Hale will deliver the keynote address immediately following the conference luncheon.  His address is titled:

"Dragons of the North: Voyages of the Viking Longboats"

John R. Hale is an archaeologist and the Director of the Liberal Studies Program at the University of Louisville. His recent book Lords of the Sea: The Epic Story of the Athenian Navy and the Birth of Democracy was published in 2009.

The History Department of Hanover College is pleased to welcome Professor Hale to our campus to deliver the Indiana Association of Historians Annual Meeting keynote address.

The History Department and the Indiana Association of Historians thank the Rivers Institute at Hanover College for its generous support in bringing Professor Hale to campus.

Professor Hale's lecture is free and open to the public. Attendance at the IAH annual meeting, including sessions and the luncheon, requires registration.
