Lester's note: The Sainte Chapelle was built by Louis IX (Saint Louis) to house the Crown of Thorns, a famous relic from Constantinople, Attached
to the palace, the reliquary included a chapel for the king on the second floor, the level of his residential apartments. At the west end
of the chapel is a two story porch which provided access from the apartments;on the ground floor is a lower chapel for servants.
