Organizations and Projects
The History Department invites all students--majors and non-majors alike--to participate in the following organizations and projects.

Phi Alpha Theta. Help initiate Hanover's local chapter of this national honor society for history. For more details, please contact Larry Thornton thornton@hanover.edu.

The History Department Web Site. Serve as a (paid) student worker. Current projects include the Hanover Historical Texts Project (electronic historical texts scanned and made available on the web), the Internet Archive of Texts and Documents (a large database of historical texts and images), and Documents from the History of Hanover College (electronic texts from Hanover's past).
